CONSEQUENCE
When exceedingly short tempered, smug 16 year old Lewis Chapman who gets mysteriously arrested by the police whilst in college, his whole life is turned upside down. Lewis is doing his second year A levels in college, he is known as a cause for concern to members off staff throughout the college. After being arrested in college and taken to the police station all that can be seen and heard is a pair of heels powerfully strutting down a long straight corridor they finally come to a complete stop at a door, the woman enters the room as Lewis is sat in a chair in a slouched position. This woman is firm, straight talking DC Lisa Dixon she can be very intimidating when she wants but also very charming. She is not the type of woman to give up easy and let someone take what she wants. As Lisa walks into the room she sits down with a plain face, introduces herself to Lewis and the social worker who is sat in on the interrogation whilst his mother is out of town , she then looks him directly in the eyes and says let's start from the beginning shall we as she firmly presses the record button.
The story has rewound to a rowdy classroom with everyone talking, shouting and laughing with a distressed man stood at the front of the room looking lost staring directly at a pompous looking Lewis messing around with his friends and ignoring the rest of the chaos in the room. This man is Mr.Bourne he is Lewis's English teacher who hates his job and feels as though respect should be given towards him as apposed to a give and take. He feels like children are there to be made examples of and this isn't the first time he decides to make an example out of Lewis. Mr Bourne demanded silence from the class as he slowly walked down the isle of the room, bashing Lewis in front of the whole class until his words are joined by sly sniggers of classmates. Mr.Bourne was making solid eye contact with Lewis until his fists began to shake and clench under the desk until he couldn't take it anymore he through his chair to the floor and darted past Mr.Bourne knocking him into a stumble.
DC Lisa Dixon asks Lewis where he was planning on going when he stormed out, Lewis replied that he didn't know he just needed to get out of there but he eventually ended up in a park (it will then cut to him on the park) sat on a bench thinking. He then leaves the park in a fast walk as though he is on a mission with a determine look in his eyes mixed with fury. He crashes through his front door and immediately runs up his stairs banging into his bedroom door with his shoulders to open it, he turns on his laptop and impatiently waits as it loads with his foot tapping on the floor in time with his fingers tapping his knee. He starts furiously typing down a message threatening to bomb the collage with only one person in it and that person is Mr.Bourne.
He sends the email anonymously to Mr.Bounre telling him that he plans to blow up the college the next day not harming anyone except for him. Mr.Bounre opens his emails next following morning terrified with what he is reading as all the colour in his face quickly drains from it. He dashes up the stairs to the IT technicians knocking as loud as thunder on door until there is a response. He demands that the email is traced with a name and an address, not forgetting to tell them to inform the police and the head master.
Mr. Bourne is sat on a torn away black leather spinning chair with his back to his desk on the phone to his wife frantically re assuring her that he will be okay even though his voice is trembling as the words left his mouth. A hand slams down a piece of paper on the desk causing Mr.Bourne to spin round in a fright holding his breath, The hand belonged to the IT technician he explained that the address had been traced and it is in fact the college address, they ran it through the college database and it was in fact a student in the college Mr Bourne swiped the folded piece of paper off his desk and read the name that was on the paper, his shoulders tightened as his eyes bulged from his their sockets as he whispered the name Lewis Chapman. Inform the police he bellowed at the technician.
DCI Lisa Dixon face is straight as can be with pursed lips as Lewis continues the story of him messing around as usual when there is a knock on the classroom door and a friendly female member of staff requested for Lewis to come outside. When he did he was greeted by a 5ft 9 hefty police man that grabbed him and slammed him against the wall with his cheeks looking as though they were about to explode with the pressure of them against the wall. He is read out his rights bringing Lewis's story full circle.
Lewis gives Lisa Dixon a look as if to say that's all, she asks him why he did it and he explains that he was never actually going to do it he just wanted to scare him and get some revenge. Lisa Dixon tells Lewis that the college and Mr.bourne have decided not to press charges about the whole fiasco, they just want his removal from the college. This news should of been good to Lewis as he was let off very lightly but he reacted devastated in the same way as some convicts have reacted when told they will face prison. He said that there is nothing left for him to do other than college and that its too late to go to a different college, without it he wouldn't be able to help support his family. DCI Lisa Dixon said heartlessly you should of thought about the consequences to your actions. Pressing the stop button as she got up and turned to leave the room when Lewis desperately whispered help Lisa stopped for one second as her eyes tried to look behind without turning around but she carried on walking leaving the door open. Showing Lewis now sat upright with his hands on his head.
